From the Main Menu of your Site Manager, click Shoppers (in the Sales column), then click All registered shoppers, and then click Edit for a shopper. |

Introduction |

A registered shopper has signed up as a registered shopper on your site, and/or has made a purchase on your site. |

Edit Registered Shopper |

This screen displays all of the data about your registered shopper.
Make changes to the screen, and then click Apply. |

|
|
Tax exempt If a customer buys your products for resale and has provided you with a resale tax certificate, you can grant the shopper tax exemption. |
|
A tax exempt customer does not pay for sales tax on purchases from your site. Only grant tax exemption to someone who has provided valid proof that they do not have to pay tax, otherwise you must pay their sales tax to the state without collecting it from the customer. |

|
Receive e-mail Your shopper can choose whether or not they want to receive e-mails that you send through your site. You can also change this by changing this option and then clicking Apply. |

|
Change shopper’s price quote To assign a price discount to this shopper, select a Price Quote Type and then click Apply. |
|
|
|
You can set a custom discount for a particular shopper – select Other and enter a discount percentage for that shopper. |

|
Authorize shopper You can authorize a shopper, or un-authorize them so that they cannot purchase from your site. |
|
|
To change a shopper’s status, change this option and click Apply. |
|
|
|
Shopper comments You can add comments to shopper accounts that only you can see. This is useful to remind you of events that happen with a shopper. |
|
To remove a shopper comment, click Delete next to the comment. |
|
|
To add a new content to the shopper’s account, enter it in the Comment field and then click Add Comment. |
|
|
|
Items in Shopping Cart If the shopper has any items in their shopping cart currently (whether or not they are presently signed on to your site), these items will be displayed here. |

Receipts A shopper’s purchase history is displayed in the Receipts area.
To see a particular order, click on the Order ID. |
