From the Main Menu of your Site Manager, click Upload Files (in the Appearance column).

 

 

Introduction

The Upload Files section of your Site Manager allows you to upload and manage several different file formats for usage on your site.  You can upload pictures for your home page or for products, custom order sheets, custom catalogs, and pages which display specials or advertisements.

File Names

File names should have only standard alphanumeric characters:  a-z and 0-9.  It does not matter if you choose capital or lowercase letters.

Do not use any other characters in the filename.  This includes the space, ~, !, `, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), -, =, +, [, ], {, }, |, \, , , ;, :, the comma (,), the period (.), or any other special characters.

 

 

File Limitations

You can store up to 100 files, each of no more than 75kb in size.

 

 

Uploading Files

To upload a file, click Upload FIles.

 

Choose whether or not you want to replace existing files with the same name by selecting Yes or No.

 

Select files to upload by clicking Browse and then following the instructions for Choose File (below).

 

When you have selected up to five files to upload, click Upload.

The Choose file window appears when you click Browse.  Navigate to and select the file that you wish to upload, and then click Open.

 

 

Uploading Multiple Files

To upload multiple files at once, click Add More Files once for every extra file you wish to upload.  Every time you click the button, another Browse… line will appear for selecting additional files.

 

 

View or Delete Existing Files

Select which type of files you would like to view by clicking the option.  Graphics Files will display .gif and .jpg, HTML Files will display .htm and .html, and Sound\ Pdf Files will display all other file types.

 

The Upload File screen displays files in alphabetical order.

 

To view a file, click on the file name.  It will open in a separate window.

 

To delete a single file, click the (delete) link next to it.

To delete multiple files, check the boxes next to files you want to delete, and then click the Delete Files link at the top.

Note:  If the new window does not appear, you may have a pop-up blocker.  Try holding down either the SHIFT key or the CTRL key while clicking the file name.
