From the Main Menu of your Site Manager, click Global Discounts (in the Marketing column).

Introduction

Global Discounts allows you to change labels on pricing and apply a discount which affects all shoppers on your site, except shopper accounts you have already marked with a discount rate.

This discount, unlike the other discounts available on your site, is visible to your shoppers while they browse through your storefront.

To activate a discount, you must set the Select Discount Type To All Shoppers field to either Open House Price or Yellow Price.

Global Discounts

Retail Price Label

By default, the label for your retail price is Our Price.  Enter a new label in the Retail Price Label box.

This label change works even when you are not offering a discount through this feature.

Strike Retail Price

While offering a discount, select this box to put a line through the retail price.

Discount price labels

To provide a discount to your shoppers, you must choose either the Yellow Price or the Open House Price discounts.  Use these boxes to rename the labels to something other than Yellow Price or Open House Price.

Shopper discount price label

This price label applies to a shopper account which was marked with a Price Quote Type of Other.

To make this change, edit the shopper’s account, change the Price Quote Type to Other, enter a discount percentage, and then click Apply Price Quote.

Display discount

The Display Discount feature will show the percentage discount the shopper saves.

Select discount type

Select one of these options to apply the Yellow Price or the Open House Price to all shoppers.  This displays the new price to all products on your site, and displays the price change on all pages of your site.
